What’s one lesson you took away from your SCLN fellowship experience?

“Southern California Leadership Network teaches fellows and other active participants many lessons about timing, preparation, regional policy issues and leadership. The tools provided through this program can be invaluable to those that participate in and take advantage of opportunities to interact with their SCLN peers. Long term professional development requires continued interaction. You may meet new business colleagues, other times you may make new friends, and it is great when you can do both. The key to being successful during and after the SCLN fellowship experience is understanding the power and impact of maintaining new professional and personal relationships. Intentional engagement can create even greater networks, and creating a network always starts with an email or phone call to someone you know.”
